In this section AGISEE will inform you about training programs and
courses, related to spatial data infrastructures. These could be
web sites with educational material or course organized at specific
locations.
AGISEE will in the future organise workshops and seminars with the
purpose of introducing SDI issues. The workshops will serve as disseminators
of information, and provide the base of spatial data infrastructures
and using geospatial information. These courses will be open for
members, and for non members under special conditions.
The section will also include information about courses run by similar
organisations.
2005 Vespucci
Summer School on GI Science 
The
3rd annual Vespucci Summer School on Geographic Information Science
will be organized from 4 to 15 July 2005 (two, one-week sessions)
near Fiesole (Florence), Italy. More information is available in
section "Members".
2004
Vespucci Summer School on GI Science
The summer school has become an integral part of
the not-for-profit Vespucci Initiative, established in 2002 with
the goal of channeling and continuing the positive energy created
by European Science Foundation (ESF) and US National Science Foundation
